ALL APPLICATION FEES ARE BEING WAIVED UNTIL DECEMBER 31, 2020. THAT MEANS YOU CAN BECOME A MEMBER OF THE BEST SERVICE ORGANIZATION IN THE AREA AND NOT PAY A THING. JOIN NOW!
This is a great time to join Kiwanis. We are gearing up for our largest service project of the year -- Christmas gifts for the 200+ children served by the Edinboro Food Pantry. With the help of community members and area churches, we will make sure these kids have the best holiday possible.
We are also getting ready to distribute dictionaries to third graders in five area elementary schools. Why? Because studies show this is the age children stop learning to read ... and start reading to learn! Kiwanis is all about literacy. And safety. We will not be able to do our in-school presentations this year, but we are going to make sure the children don't lose out because of that.
The Edinboro Kiwanis Club was organized on September 25, 1986. Currently, the largest service organization in the Edinboro area, club membership includes those in a wide range of occupations and age groups. It offers the new member an opportunity to become personally acquainted with people of good standing in many vocations, with varied backgrounds and experiences.
The Club reaches out to attract members from the greater Edinboro community, people of high moral character and concern for human betterment. It offers its members personal growth through hearty fellowship and teamwork, plus the benefits of many strong friendships. Dues for current members are set at $116 a year ($224 for a married couple).
When there is no pandemic -
