Are you ready for Kiwanis?
KIWANIS IS READY FOR YOU!

At Edinboro Kiwanis, we are all about making a difference.

 

We believe in the power of community service, and our organization is driven by our dedication to improving the lives of children and families in our area. We have a wide range of programs that are designed to meet the specific needs of our community, whether that's providing educational opportunities, youth activities, or financial support.

 

And the best part? We make it easy to get involved – our no-meeting policy ensures that every member is able to contribute in a way that best suits their needs and schedule.

Beginning October 1, 2023, the Edinboro Kiwanis Club has a new format.  It's called 3-2-1 and it's designed with you in mind.

Each month, members are asked to provide three hours of service ... any service. Some examples are:

  • Reading to young children

  • Participating in Trunk or Treat

  • Providing summer activities for children

  • Making sleeping mats for the homeless

  • Volunteering at the Food Pantry

  • Helping out at Thrifty Threads

  • and much more! The possibilities are endless

Each month, members will gather for at least two hours of socializing. 

  • Meet at Perkins for breakfast on the 2nd Tuesday at 7:30 a.m.

  • Attend athletic events as a group

  • Get together at members' homes

  • These are great ways to get to know other members and plan for the future of Kiwanis

Business meetings will be held for one hour each month.

  • Board meeting on the 4th Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. on Zoom

  • Regular club meeting on the 4th Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. on Zoom

  • All members are encouraged -- but not required -- to attend meetings

No matter how busy you are, Kiwanis can always fit into your schedule. 

You will definitely enjoy the rewards of reading to young children, providing gifts to the children served by the Food Pantry, supporting youth athletics and scholarships, or even handing out candy for Halloween!
