SCHOLARSHIPS

Edinboro Kiwanis Foundation Scholarship

The Kiwanis Club of Edinboro, through its Foundation, each year presents at least two $1,000 scholarship awards to outstanding students.  The recipient must be a current senior (or graduate of) General McLane High School High School planning to pursue post-secondary education at an accredited institution. In addition, consideration is given to SAT/ACT scores, community activity, and participation in a Kiwanis-sponsored club such as Key Club or Builders Club.

Beginning in the 2022-2023 school year, the Edinboro Kiwanis Foundation, in conjunction with the Parker-Hannifin Foundation, will be offering cash awards to high school students in General McLane and Cambridge Springs school districts.

High School Citizenship Awards

Each year, the Kiwanis Club of Edinboro recognizes area high school students who have exhibited high moral character, leadership skills, healthy lifestyle, service to school and community, good citizenship, and above average scholastic achievement, as selected by their high school guidance counselors.

Parker-Hannifin Scholarships

Thanks to a donation from the Parker-Hannifin Foundation, this scholarship program was established in 2022 to recognize academic achievement, as well as a student’s accomplishments in the areas of service and leadership.

Seven $500 scholarships will be awarded to deserving students from General McLane and Cambridge Springs high schools.  While not a requirement of the application, we especially encourage applications from those students who are pursuing an education in Erie or Crawford County.
